hello i would like to get some info on the wiring on the plastic later model XV1000 to replace my cooked XV920 TR1 tin can TCI , ive read it can be done but are the wire colors the same ? found a drawing of the color codes but i cant find if the 2 different bikes have the same color codes can anybody help?

well i just compared the harnesses are theyre almost the same colors , the later plastic TCI has 2 more wires  that go on a pressure switch to help with decell . joined colors to colors , test drove it and it works fine , my other TCI overheated from a 115F plus traffic organised ride and was misfirering randomnly. it was kind of close to one exhaust pipe
