Hello Walter

I really like your bike. Well done. You have managed to achieve a cafe racer look but stiil maintain the design style of the TR1.

I loke the air gap above the rear wheel and the hugger you have fitted to the swingarm is a very neat solution.

I too have fitted Morad alloy rims to my bike. I found that with a smaller diameter front rim and a lower profile tyre that was a large gap between the tyre and the front fender. I obtained a large alluminium fender and cut it down. I also wanted a long fender to protect the engine paintwork from flying stones.  I didn't want the fender to look large so I painted it black. I have attached a photo so you can see what a black, tight fitting, front fender would look like.

I used a chain guard from an FJ600. You would need to manufacture a small bracket. There are lots of these chain guards available on ebay.

Please see photo attached showing a black fender on an 18inch rim and FJ600 chain guard.

Regards
Kevin

Hello Kevin

Am I right that your bike is horizontally on your picture? If yes I would fill in more oil in the motor. In order to be on the safe side, I always fill oil up to the upper edge of the inspection window.

So,
