I can assure you that we Rosbifs have the same problem!  Perhaps we should invent a language that's somewhere between French and English...

I will look into it. I have most messages already in French now. But for
most plugins/addons I only have the German and the English phrases.
Also I would need to re-create my (self-made) buttons...

And, I'll try to add a "translate message to French" button. That should
be easier... Try this for a translation of this thread...
