Hi Derbibass,

please see either my engine build-thread on this forum here or the English version on my blog:

http://greasygreg.blogspot.co.at/2017/10/the-new-tr1-motor-crank-part-3.html

For detailed specs, either have a look at the manual here in the technics section or within the engine-chapter of your Haynes/Clymer.

Bearing shells are available via various dealers such as CMSNL.com (in Europe) or Partzilla/Boat.net (in US), depending on where in the world you are located.

Hope this helps
Greg

Thank you very much for the info. Looks really great !

I bought alot of parts at cmsnl, but there is no link for the tr1 ore is it the same as the xv 1000 ? can you give me the link to the correct bearing shells of the conection rod ?

And how did you manage to remove de 36 mm nut on the crankshaft ? ( at de clutch side ) Its so hard to remove it

Yes XV1000 and even XV1100 bearing shells are the same. Make sure there's two types of bearing shells, depending on whether it's the front or rear conrod. I usually open the nut with an impact wrench. The more difficult issue can be to remove the actual rotor. To be fair, if you just want to replace the bearing shells, you don't need to take the crank out, but can leave it in the left crank case half and just lift the right one off. Finding out WHY the bearing shell took such a beating is a different matter.

Hi Guys, I'm Alex living in France. I've just find this forum and joined it right away ! I've bought a TR1 with crankshaft in bad condition. I'm having difficulties to find TR1 parts here but see few XV1000 engine. Is anyone know if those bike are using the same crankshaft ? e.g.: my engine is a 5A8 and I found an engine 2AE, do you think this is the same crankshaft ? I checked on Google and even go to a Yamaha store but I can't find an answer..

Thank you in advance for your help !

Yes, but also I have a spare TR1 crank. If you're interested, send me a PM.
