hy Dixon, your owner, on the engine block on the right side, between the cylinder, to the number of series to be.
If there is nothing to see, then YOU have a problem.
But the Xv750se, there are only two basic types.
a) the Us-version bike (rear frame, electrics, camshafts) are different from Eu-version
b.) the Eu-version bike

Can you show a picture of the bike

Why do you need a serial number on the engine? Afaik some american cars and perhaps also bikes did not have a serial number at all.

Bye,
Georg

Okay .....  i see you have al rela problem .....  beciase you have NO serialnumber.

But you have a rare version of the XV750.

Maybe you can find information here in the LINK:
I have a 5E5, 55R 750 myself. I'm trying to look for the site I got the years from but I recall that the bike's an '84. 1984 Yamaha Virago XV750 ...switsh me  Wink

One can see, that you have GasolineTank ³ of a TR1, presumably to drive chain, but the motor is only 750cm

I think a former Owner bought new Crankcase-Halfes from Yam-Stock, it came without number, if you want a number just get some tools and put in the one of your frame, or your birthday or whatever you like,
best regards Ali
